The AHPC MG Assay is an automated, in vitro nucleic acid amplification test used for the qualitative detection of Mycoplasma genitalium (MG) deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) in urine specimens. It is intended for use with individuals showing symptoms or at risk of MG infection and is not approved for self-testing or near-patient use.

Product Overview

MG is a sexually transmitted pathogen associated with non-gonococcal urethritis (NGU), cervicitis, and pelvic inflammatory disease. The EasyNAT MG Assay automates sample processing and detection using a cartridge-based system run on the EasyNAT® instrument. Each test integrates chemical lysis, nucleic acid purification, cross priming amplification, and real-time fluorescence detection. Total test duration is approximately 60 minutes.
