Aptamil Feed Thickener is suitable for thickening breast milk or an infant formula product. Thickened feeds may assist with the dietary management of regurgitation or mild reflux. Aptamil Feed Thickener is a specialty thickening agent. It may be mixed with breast milk, standard infant formulas or some specialty infant formulas, to help manage regurgitation issues. In all cases, it should only be used under medical supervision. It can be used safely and effectively to thicken infant feeds but should never be used as a sole source of nutrition.

Ingredients: Maltodextrin, thickener (carob bean gum).

Directions: Use expressed breast milk, or prepare formula as directed. Add to the bottle, 1 scoop (8g) per 200ml of breast milk or formula. Shake vigorously. A fast flow or variable flow teat is recommended unless otherwise advised. Thickened feeds will continue to thicken after preparation. Follow instructions as recommended.
